It is also one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world. |
Day 2 | Sergiev-Posad | 09.15: Meeting with your guide. 09.30: Transfer to Old City of Russia – Sergiev Pasad, the heart of Russian. 11.00: A guided tour of Sergiev Posad – the heart of Russian orthodox religion, and the home of Russia’s Patriarch. The town, located in the suburbs of Moscow, grew up in the 15th century around one of the greatest Russian monasteries - the Holy Trinity – St Serbius Lavra (Troitse-Sergiyeva Lavra), founded by St Sergius of Radonezh. The town also claims to be the birthplace of the Russian nesting doll, or matryoshka. After a guided tour of the St Sergius Monastery and its beautiful churches, you can purchase Russian handicrafts - matryoshka dolls and lacquered boxes at a small bazaar. On our way to Sergiev Posad, we enjoy the charming Russian countryside as the highway runs through vast birch forests, hills, and past beautifully decorated country homes. 12.30-13.30: Lunch with Russian traditional food. 14.00: Transfer to Moscow. Day 3 | Moscow | Breakfast at the hotel. 09.00: Meeting with guide at the Lobby. 09:15: Transfer to Kremlin. 10:30: Proceed to visit Kremlin, Cathedral and Red Square. Kremlin Cathedral Square is a breath taking architectural ensemble of the 15th – 17th centuries, where the life of Russian grand princes and tsars started and ended; the Annunciation Cathedral where they were baptized/Christianize, the Assumption Cathedral where they were crowned and the Archangel Michael Cathedral where they were buried. Tsar’s bell and Tsar Cannon are stunning examples of casting of the 16th – 18th centuries. The square also consists of the Grand Kremlin Palace, political and governmental buildings of the Kremlin, the Senate, the Palace of Congresses, the Kremlin walls and towers. Kremlin is a beautiful fortress in the heart of the city full of history and legends. It used to be a residence of Russian tsars and communist leaders and now it's a working place of the president of Russia. After we visit the Red Square. This separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and now the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod. Red Square is often considered to be the central square of Moscow since the city's major streets, which connect to Russia's major highways, originate in the square, followed by a visit to St. Basil’s Cathedral (Outside), Lenin’s Mausoleum (outside). 12:00: Walking tour by RED Square Tour: 13.30: Transfer to Lunch (indian). 14:00-15.00: Lunch. 15.30-16.00: Metro Tour. Saint Petersburg is Russia's second-largest city after Moscow, with five million inhabitants and an important Russian port on the Baltic Sea.Situated on the Neva River, at the head of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea, it was founded by TsarPeter the Great on 27 May 1703. In 1914, the name was changed from Saint Petersburg to Petrograd and in 1924 to Leningrad and again in 1991 back to Saint Petersburg. Between 1713 and 1728 and in 1732–1918, Saint Petersburg was the capital of imperial Russia. In 1918, the central government bodies moved to Moscow. Saint Petersburg is one of the modern cities of Russia, as well as its cultural capital. The Historic Centre of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Saint Petersburg is home to The Hermitage, one of the largest art museums in the world. |

Drive along the «Great Perspective» world famous today as Nevsky Prospect lined with marble palaces of Russian royalty and aristocracy, with most fashionable boutiques and art salons arranged in old settings of the 18th century, trading rows and arcades, with impressive classical and Renaissance cathedrals and churches as its backdrop, enjoy this 4.5 km long thoroughfare cut through woods and marshes from the Admiralty with the city’s symbol -2 ships on top of its gilded spire to the Monastery of Alexander Nevsky, one of four Russia’s Lavras with its magnificent Trinity Cathedral and its cemetery where Dostoevsky, Tchaikovsky and other world celebrities were buried The center of St. Petersburg Square – The Palace Square, Senate Square-the Palace Square, Alexander Column, Kazan Cathedral, St. Essar Cathedral( outlook). 11.30: Transfer to lunch ( ind.). 12.00-13.00: Time for Lunch 13.15: Transfer to Peterhoff. 14.30: Visiting Peterhoff Palace. Peterhoff is the ceremonial residence of Peter I, which has grown the size of a little town. Today it is widely known and the world's largest palace and park complex. It is located 30 km from Saint Petersburg. Peterhoff includes palaces, cascades, regular parks - each one is a masterpiece of architecture and garden art. The palaces are the best examples of the architecture of Peter the Great's era. The parks of Peterhof are the green kingdom with walls of lush vegetation of bushes and the carpet of emerald grass in the middle which stand white bridges and vases, majestic bronze sculptures. But the main attraction there is the variety of fountains; there are over 150 of them. Each of them is original and unique.In 1723, Peterhoff was opened with the ready palaces Monplaisir and Marly as well as a part of the fountains. Peter reached his goal: in splendor and richness of decoration Petergoff surpassed its prototype, French Versailles, and became the most glorious palace in Europe. Magnificent parks, numerous fountains, gilded and marble statues, and magnificent decorations of the palaces of Peterhoff – everything was to demonstrate the richness and glory of Russia. 16.30: Transfer to St.Peterburg and Ferry. 17.00-18.00: Cruise. 18:30: Transfer to Hotel.
