Day 1 | Moscow | Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by our guide and taken to the hotel Panoramic city tour including Cathedral of Christ the Savior, The Triumph Arch, Victory park, Sparrow Hills. A stop at Radisson hotel to enjoy the restored splendid interiors from the 1950-ies and to see the diorama of Moscow made in 1977 and restored in 2010. Dinner in an Indian restaurant. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 | Moscow | Breakfast at the hotel. Walking tour on the Red Square. Visit of the Lenin mausoleum (if open). Time for walking through the oldest State Department store GUM. Due to its 19th century architectural style, it looks like a royal palace. In the Soviet times the most visitors of Moscow also tried to visit GUM as it offered a better assortment of goods than other shops. Lunch in the “Stolovaya 57” Soviet style café. Visit to the Kremlin. The Moscow Kremlin is considered to be a symbol of the Russian statehood. The Kremlin hill became the main sightseeing of Moscow. The architectural ensemble “The Moscow Kremlin and Red Square” is included into the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Dinner in an Indian restaurant. Transfer to the hotel. |
Day 3 | Moscow | Breakfast at the hotel Visit to VDNH - a permanent general purpose trade show complex and amusement park in Moscow. The complex was founded in 1939 and the main architectural masterpieces were constructed in the 1950ies. You will enjoy the gorgeous large-scale Soviet style buildings and a number of interesting museums such as the big layout of Moscow, the museum of Soviet slot machines and the Special Garage – museum of cars of Soviet leaders. Lunch in the Varenichnaya restaurant (quality Soviet style cousine). Visit of the TV Tower which was built in 1961 and which has been the tallest building in the world in theat times. Rise at observation deck located at the height of 337 meters with an exciting panoramic city view. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel. |
Day 4 | Moscow | Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Bunker museum. «Bunker 42» is a fortification underground facility, located in the downtown of Moscow. Right after the USA invented a new weapon of mass destruction- the nuclear bomb, USSR government decided to protect themselves by creating not only a bunker, but their very own bomb. The USSR scientists were obligated to develop a nuclear bomb, as well as, come up with methods of protection from it, in a very short time. Lunch in the Bunker restaurant. The metro-tour. The Moscow underground is one of the most beautiful metros in the world – “the underground palaces” built in the Soviet time. Walking along the Arbat street. Free time for shopping. Dinner in an Indian restaurant. Transfer to the Railway station. Departure by a night train to Saint-Petersburg. Travelling by night trains between Moscow and St.Petersburg is an old tradition which became very popular in the Soviet times. |
Day 5 | St. Petersburg | In the morning meeting at the railway station with the guide. Breakfast in a café. Sightseeing tour, which features the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Admiralty, Nevsky Avenue, the Palace Square, the Senate’s Square, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the Kazan Cathedral and the Smolny Palace where the first Soviet government took place. Lunch in a Soviet style restaurant. Check in to the hotel. Visit to the Cruiser Aurora – the famous “ship of the revolution” which became the symbol of the Soviet revolution of 1917. Visit to the Peter & Paul fortress. Dinner in an Indian restaurant. Transfer to the hotel. |
Day 6 | St. Petersburg | Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to a remote island called Kotlin, where a small town of Kronstadt is located. You will visit a huge and beautiful Nicolsky Cathedral, which is considered to be the main Kronstadt’s naval church. Lunch. St.Petersburg river cruise by boat. Free time. Dinner in an Indian restaurant. |
Day 7 | St. Petersburg | Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure from St. Petersburg. |
