On September 3, a roadshow organised by the Moscow City Tourism Committee took place in Kuala Lumpur, and TS.tours took part in it. This event should be regarded as a significant one for the international travel sector. It was devoted to promoting Moscow as a destination for leisure and business visitors. Likewise, it aimed to foster cooperation between Russian tourism representatives and Malaysian travel professionals.
This road show came after a similar event in Jakarta, which we also attended. Although both gatherings shared the same overall objective, the Kuala Lumpur meeting provided a separate regional perspective. Whereas the Jakarta edition offered one set of market insights, the Malaysian event allowed us to examine another. For this reason, we could compare audience responses and refine our understanding of South East Asian demand. Notably, the presentations covered Moscow’s modern infrastructure, cultural heritage and simplified electronic visa process. In particular, the Russia electronic visa travel memo was explained so as to clarify entry requirements for foreign visitors.
We played an active role throughout the event. We held discussions with key partners, exchanged views with industry colleagues and explored possible collaboration. Additionally, we answered questions about visa procedures and shared practical information regarding travel arrangements. In this way, we not only strengthened existing contacts but also established new professional links. Furthermore, we attended seminars and networking sessions in order to identify opportunities for future programmes. Because demand for Russian travel continues to evolve, such participation is essential.
It is important to note that international road shows of this kind are vital for the growth of global tourism. Since Moscow is developing its tourist infrastructure, we are well placed to offer enriched travel experiences. Hence, the knowledge gained in Kuala Lumpur, as well as in Jakarta, will significantly benefit our future projects. Accordingly, we intend to apply these insights to our forthcoming products and services.
