Cathedral square

Cathedral square – the main place of the city of Vladimir. It got its name thanks to the assumption and Dmitrievsky cathedrals located on it. During its history, it only once changed its name, since the Bolsheviks came to power in 1917 and until the collapse of the Soviet Union, this place was called "Freedom Square". However, the name did not take root, and for more than two decades it again bears its original name.

Cathedral square attractions
