It is a favorite place for tourists and locals. It starts at the Nicholas Cape and moving to the other Cape – Crystal.
The embankment stretches for two kilometers and covers the beach "Crystal", Primorsky Boulevard, as well as the embankments of Klokachev and Kornilov. Walking along the Promenade is not only pleasant, but also very interesting, because at every step there are various attractions.
Walk along the Promenade
Start your journey along the Waterfront with the Count's pier. It is not only the main pier of Sevastopol, decorated with monolithic steps and a majestic arch, but also a historical and architectural monument. The name of the pier gave count Voinovich, commander of the black sea fleet.
From a distance you can see the Monument to the submerged ships, located near the seaside Boulevard embankment. It reminds of the ships that had to be sacrificed to save the city from attacks from the sea. On a three-meter cliff of granite blocks stands a slender column, on top of which sits a bronze double-headed eagle with outstretched wings. His head bowed, and the beak is a Laurel wreath and anchor.
On the Kornilov Embankment, the Dolphinarium and the nearby souvenir market will surely attract your attention – a real treasure for tourists looking for gifts for relatives.
Passing by the Dolphinarium, you will get to the square, passing in Nakhimov Avenue. There are plenty of places for a delicious holiday: pizzerias, cafes and shops.
The embankment is always full of people. Children are in awe spaced around the amusement, and the young adventurers took a fancy to the embankment over the natural slope. In the evenings, crowds gather to admire the sea views and listen to music groups that perform right on the Waterfront, on improvised stages.
