Holy Trinity Cathedral, which is located on the territory of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, one of the most picturesque attractions in all of Russia. It is believed that this temple has no analogues, which makes it even more valuable. The construction of the Holy monastery is not yet completed, but despite this, we can already talk about its incredible beauty and epic.
A bit of history
The first brick, which marked the beginning of large-scale construction, was laid in the city in 2002, June 28. In addition, the Foundation was immured steel capsule, which contained the relics of the Saints, 
as well as a Mortgage letter. The first years of construction of the Cathedral went at the expense of funds that were donated by parishioners. In just 6 years it was spent about 49 million rubles. Transfers of funds were carried out by both individuals and legal entities. Large capital investment was made by the President of the Russian Federation and Moscow Patriarch Alexei II. In the future, funding for the construction of the Holy Trinity Cathedral took over the company "Gazprom", which has allocated an additional 230 million to complete the complex.
In may 2007, the Orthodox monastery was crowned with bells. In September 2010, the main work on the construction of the temple was completed. And on September 19 of the same year the majestic Cathedral was consecrated, after which the first services were held.
The exterior of the temple and its interior
The building is a real masterpiece of architecture, which rose up to 42 meters. Due to the seismic instability of the earth's surface, the designers had a special task to ensure the seismic stability of the building even with a 10-point earthquake. Despite such a majestic building, such a task was solved, and not to the detriment of the external appearance of the temple.
The Cathedral was built according to the project developed by Oleg Lukomsky. 
The external facade is made in the traditional old Russian style. The temple is two-storey, made of white stone, which is in perfect harmony with the volcanic landscape. Five Golden domes reflect the sun and the blue of the sky, which adds mystery to the appearance of the Cathedral.
Nobody is indifferent to the interior of the Holy Trinity Church. For painting were invited the best icon painters, who were under the careful leadership of Alexander Tanichev. All images were made in the same old Russian style, which allows us to talk about a single concept of the entire building.
Painting in color was made by Alexander Tanichev. For icon painting used specialized mineral paints, which after a certain time, turn into a mosaic. Thanks to this, the images are preserved for centuries.
The Holy Trinity Cathedral is an amazing architectural masterpiece of our time, which is the decoration of the far Eastern city – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
