Alexander Vtorov was a successful businessman who made a huge fortune – 18 million rubles. Dynasty Vorovich owned about 50 buildings in Irkutsk.
One of them is a family mansion built in the late XIX century. After the mansion housed the Palace of creativity, it was redone, changed the entrance, decorated with marble facade, re-painted.
Alexander Fedorovich traveled a lot, in the interior he tried to embody the decorative techniques of India and the Middle East. The interior decoration of the house made a stunning impression on the guests: there were such luxurious mirrors, furniture and lighting.

A luxurious four-storey mansion in the center of Irkutsk could afford only a very rich man. Millionaire Alexander Vtorov purchased through retail clothing, shoes, furs, Cutlery. Shopping malls Vtorov furnished with chic and taste and not inferior to the beauty of Moscow and the capital's passages. Second-hand shops were opened in the Urals, Tomsk, Barnaul, Biysk, Sretensk, Chita. Alexander Fedorovich himself provided shops with goods, he constantly went from one city to another. In addition, he had to build warehouses to store goods.
