To the right of the southern entrance to the monastery is a small Church of the Assumption, which gave the name to the whole monastery. Built in the early XVI century (according to another version, in the 70's XVI century.), it served as the house of the Grand Church. In addition to the main throne in honor of the assumption of the Mother of God, had two pridelnyh: North — Nicholas, and South – John the Baptist.
Built of white stone and brick, the Church of the assumption was originally a four-column, single-headed, towering on a high basement, under which there were well-preserved to our time white stone cellars. Located on three sides of the open gallery in the 2nd floor. The XVI century was laid with bricks.
